Do you love tales of the U.S. military opening the West for arriving settlers?  Or stories from the US Army at Camp Little during the Mexican Revolution  and World War I?

How about stories of the Pancho Villa and the Mexican Revolution in Nogales? Did you know there was a one day shooting war in Nogales between Americans and Mexicans? 

Did you know the U.S. Army’s 35th Infantry faced their first battle in Nogales? These brave soldiers went on to fight in WWII, Korea, Vietnam and are today in Iraq?
 
Where did the battleship USS Arizona get its’ name?  Would you believe Nogales Mayor Leander Mix of Nogales?  Mix raised the money for the Arizona’s sterling silver, in the Arizona State Capitol! 

And celebrities?  We had ‘em all,  JFK’s first love, Inga Aarvad and Stewart Granger lived here,  and visitors, Gov Thomas Dewey, W.C. Fields, Will Rogers, John Wayne, William F Buckley, President Gerald Ford, James Stewart,  Admiral Wm “Bull” Halsey,  The Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Gary Cooper, Gregory Peck, General George Marshall,  Susan Hayward and many more!
