Did you know the U.S. Army’s 35th Infantry faced their first battle in Nogales? These brave soldiers went on to fight in WWII, Korea, Vietnam and are today in Iraq?
Where did the battleship USS Arizona get its’ name? Would you believe Nogales Mayor Leander Mix of Nogales? Mix raised the money for the Arizona’s sterling silver, in the Arizona State Capitol!
